Yesterday was still a hot day to walk the skies were blue with clouds dragged across them in whisps. The path twisted and turned and rose and fell. I stopped where there were benches or shade. After about five hours i arrived into Najera. The entrance to most of the towns is a slow torture of winding paths leading around the houses to i guess make the pilgrim eventually feel greatful to have arrived I got the impression that pilgrims are not liked to much in Najera, when i told the lady at the hotel ny impression of the feeling she laughed and said yes its true but more so a regional issue. It must be hard having so many people pass through a town for less than 24 hours and then leave.
