I am sitting in the cathedral square in Santiago, my taxi will arrive at 2pm to take me to the airport. Sunlight is streaming into the square bathing people in its warmth, regardless of the breeze it is warm. Pilgrims are arriving in a constant stream, it is amazing really. My thoughts are tinged with sadness, as my departure time draws near. I jockingly said this morning maybe I should walk home, but that is a totally different journey and I am still unsure of the significance in walking home. I will settle for my final moments here in Santiago, until next time.
