Reflections 1

How do I feel. Not like I used to. I do not feel like killing myself, that perhaps is the biggest change. I can see past tomorrow and the next day and the next day. There is a future, a good if not great future. Yes as I write this I am tearful, but emotions are good and this is a healthy response to an amazing experience. I was sitting probably four kilometres from Finisterre yesterday, on a stone bench by the side of the road. Thinking about what I would change about this walk and how I walked it, not one thing. I do not regret or wish to change any of it, I have loved every moment good or bad. The trip of a lifetime, no the begining of a life time of trips, travels, walks and adventures. Live life to the full take it by the horns and go for it.

    Trip
seems a very worthwhile challenge to have done in the end, Simon. Great!

That should read future life. I’m only a journalist so I’m illiterate!

        Dear Keith and Mary,
Thanks so much for your support, I loved every minute of the walk. I am planning on another Camino in April of next year, all being well Canterbury to Rome.
