Go into any bar, resteraunt, coffee shop or Aulberge and you will see the camino shuffle. How is it possible to walk 20,25 or 30km a day, but as soon as you stop your locomotive skills stop working. Sore feet, stiff knees, sitting down is fine but try standing after a meal, pushing up from the table with a groan there is hope that your legs will work. Standing up right trying to get the legs to move, eventually they do. Start walking, rolling of the hips almost bent double like an old man or woman, a common site. Giggles all round, and bemused looks from the locals. Is it worth the pain, yes every moment of it.
Haha! Simon this is me during and after a long distance run 😂 it’s painful to stop more than to move and then when you have to stop the pain grows and grows. But it will all get better as being active actually helps! You’ll be doing marathons when you’re home 😜 hope you’re having a great day. Well done with the great blog updates ☺️👍🏻
