I am sitting here on the edge of my bed wondering what tomorrow will look like. The park where I walk my two dogs was full of people, I saw people put blankets on the ground to sit down on, I saw a tent up that some kids were playing in. In fact the park made it onto the news as an example of what social distancing isnt. I know of at least two people who have had Corvid 19, and one other who probably has it. This is connecting all of us in ways we probably wish it wasnt. Our humanity is being tested, we are being found wanting in parts. But there are glimmers of so much more, of kindness, generosity, communities coming together to help each other. Not just me, but I think a great number of people are hoping that perhaps whatever changes come from this that make us better human beings will stay with us. Because of course there is always hope.
