Black toenails and Blisters.

My feet have never been beautiful, apparently I have my Dad’s feet well his toe nails anyway. On this walk I have collected more than my fair share of blisters, and had more foot pain than I care to remember. Ive discovered that because my second toe is longer than my first, that my three middle toes drop so consequently need supporting. A great foot doctor in Logrono, bravely delt with my feet and showed me how to tape four toes together to support my feet. It works been doing it for the whole walk. I have also used as advised vaseline on my feet. They are softer and in better condition than they have ever been. I gave up bothering with my blisters probably three weeks ago, I discovered than they eventually harden by themselves. Not a pretty site but very effective. My two longer toes have taken a bashing two black toe nails as trophies. Im told those toe nails will fall off. My feet tell a great story, never boots my feet were made for walking.
