I left Logrono just after seven this morning. Yesterday was tough, it hurt mentally and physically. I really wasnt sure when I stepped out of the Alburgue this morning if it was the right decision. My feet covered in vaseline,my toes taped up. Off I went, Logrono is not well sign posted for pilgrims but as I discovered not really necessary. Every time I stopped some one pointed me in the right direction. I would say that the path out of Logrono is paved for a good eight kilometres. It was an easy pleasant walk, the easiest so far actually. I arrived in a town called Navarette a little after ten. I was in a private room by 10.30. Showered, clothes in the machine. I spent the day sitting out side reading or wondering around. I feel rested my feet feel a lot better. Hoping tomorrow to meet some pilgrims and have a good natter. That would be good.
